1. Huggins House Marker
Inscription.
Shingle style house built for Frank Linwood Huggins (1867-1952), chemist and superintendent of Cape Fear Chemical Company; and wife, Kate Theodosia Cantwell (1872-1950). House remained in family until 1955.

From the National Register Nomination:
Two-story house has Colonial Revival & Shingle style elements. Pyramidal roof house has brick lower level with hip roof porch supported by brick piers & short columns. Upper floor with pedimented balcony is shingled and flares out as it meets lower level.
