The football rivalry between the Westerly, RI High School Bulldogs and Stonington, CT High School Bears began in 1911. It is among the oldest high school football rivalries in the United States, as no two high school football teams have played more games against each other. The Westerly vs. Stonington football game is held annually on Thanksgiving morning.
