1. Wright-Meadows House Marker
Inscription. Samuel Wright from New Orleans built this house in 1862. Joseph and Lavinia Hathaway Snyder lived here from 1900 to 1918. Ralph W. Meadows, long-time principal of Newburgh Schools, and wife Helen Dougan Meadows, lived here 35 years.
 
Erected 1979 by Women's Club of Newburgh, Indiana.
