1. Butler-Alexander House Marker
Inscription. House built by Ed. C. Williams about 1850. It was bought by Mary C. Butler in 1881. Evansville, Indianapolis, and Crawfordsville R.R. Co. owned this property, hoping a rail line was coming throughs Newburgh. Louise Alexander lived here from 1892 to 1929.
 
Erected 1975 by Women's Club of Newburgh, Indiana.
