il Municipio di Firenze nel 2 maggio successivo
decretava questa memoria
all inclito cittadino


English Translation:
In these houses formerly of the Bondelmonti
lived Gio Pietro Vieusseux of Oneglia
long meritorious of the Italian civilization
and here he died on April 28, 1863
The city hall of Florence on the following May 2
decreed this memory
to the illustrious citizen
