Nicholas Roerich, October 9, 1874 – December 13, 1947), also known as Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh[a] (Russian: Никола́й Константи́нович Ре́рих), was a Russian painter, writer, archaeologist, theosophist, philosopher, and public figure.
