2. Mention of the memorial
The memorial is mentioned on pg. 182 of "An American Requiem: God, My Father, and the War That Came Between Us" by James Carroll, 1996. The book mentions that it was placed "twenty years before" (i.e. ca. 1975) by fifty veterans of the antiwar movement.
