Inscription.  All'esterno ed all'interno degli Uffizi sono ancora visibili i resti della chiesa, cosμ denominata dal fossato di "schiaraggio" che correva lungo la prima cinta muraria. Consacrata nel 1068, l'importante chiesa romanica non servi soltanto per le funzioni religiose, ma anche per le riunioni dei Consigli del Comune prima della costruzione del Palazzo dei Priori (il palazzo della Signoria o Palazzo Vecchio). Dopo un passato cosμ illustre, fu vittima di trasformazioni e distruzioni, prima nel 1410, per l'allargamento dell'odierna via della Ninna, poi nel 1560, quando fu inglobata nel palazzo delle Magistrature o degli Uffizi, costruito da Giorgio Vasari. Cessς di essere officiata nel 1782.

Outside and inside the Uffizi there are remains of the church, which takes its name from the 'schiaraggio' or drain that ran beside the first circuit of city walls. Consecrated in 1068, this important romanesque building was used not only for religious services but also for the meetings of the City Council, before the construction of the Palazzo dei Priori (the Palazzo della Signoria, or Palazzo Vecchio). an illustrious past the church suffered ignominious alterations, when Via della Ninna was enlarged in 1410, and later when it was encompassed by the Palazzo delle Magistrature (or Palazzo degli Uffizi) built by Giorgio Vasari in 1560. It ceased to be officiated in 1782.
