Commemorating Passage of the Lincoln Funeral Train on its 13 day journey, carrying the body of Pres. Abraham Lincoln to Springfield, Ill. The train passed by lines of mourners at Covington April 30, 1865

Glad to see this marker is finally up. I have waited 5 years to see it. I've made multiple trips to Covington looking for its appearance. Scott Trostel designed this and several other markers, before he became ill. I believe the marker remained unfinished in Scott's garage. It is an honor to Scott that it is now up.
