Inscription.
One of the top cornerbacks in LSU history, Derek Stingley Jr. twice earned first team All-America honors in his three years with the Tigers. A consensus All-America as a true freshman in 2019, Stingley helped the Tigers to the greatest season in college football history with a 15-0 mark and the national title. He followed that with first team All-America honors as a sophomore in 2020 becoming only the third cornerback in LSU history to earn first team honors twice. Stingley led the SEC in interceptions in 2019 and finished his career with 73 tackles, 21 pass breakups and six interceptions.
