Alice Plantation House
Circa 1790
Built by Agricole Fuselier de la Claire, a planter and cousin of A. B. Roman, Governor of Louisiana (1831-1835, 1839-1843). The house was floated up Bayou Teche from Baldwin to its present site by a descendant of the Builder.
