Inscription.
Bricks used to frame this plaque were obtained from historic buildings in the City of Maumee. The City of Maumee likes to recognize the historic buildings it has or has lost. It has two historic districts, the Maumee Historic District and the Uptown Historical District, as shown on the map. Other buildings individually listed in the National Register of Historic Places include: the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 200 East Broadway St. the Peck House, 228 East Broadway St.; the House of Four Pillars, 322 East Broadway St. the Hanson House, 405 East Broadway St.; the Isaac Hull Store, 114 East Harrison St; the Eckenrode-Breisach Houses; 202-204 East Dudley St; the Henry Reed Jr House, 513 White St.; the Commercial Building 301 River Rd.; and the Wolcott House, 1021 River Rd.
