Excerpt (in translation): In March 1944, he joined the Resistance within the MLN of the 5th arrondissement under the orders of Raymond Fillaire. With the rank of FFI warrant officer, he became group leader and commander of the patriotic militia of his district. During the liberation battles, he took part in the capture of the town hall of the 5th arrondissement and then in the attack on the Ecole de Mines. It was during this attack that he was killed on August 25, 1944 in front of 79 Boulevard Saint-Michel.
