Here on August 23, 1944 fell André Dhôme, Deputy Head of Post of the 7th Medical Section, mortally wounded by enemy bullets while carrying aid to a wounded person.

Excerpt (in translation): Son of Léon Dhôme, store employee, and Lucie Ritz, laundress, André Dhôme was married on June 7, 1941 in Paris (18th arrondissement) with Hélène Autin. Deputy Chief of Post of the 7th health sector of Paris, on August 14, 1944, he rescued a wounded person in front of 131 rue de l'Université (VII arr.), he was hit by several bullets. Seriously injured, he was transported to the Necker Hospital at 149 rue de Sèvres where he died…
