Colonel John E. Stearns Residence. Classical Revival style. Architect - John Parkinson. Built 1900. Declared 1989, Historic-Cultural Monument No. 434, City of Los Angeles, Cultural Heritage Commission, Cultural Affairs Department.

This property contributes to the St. James Park Historic District. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places, 1991.
