story Queen Anne house, the Vollers House is one of the surviving works of the builder James Sharpe Tannahill. The Vollers House is one of a very small number of Queen Anne homes remaining in San Mateo, and is an excellent example of the Queen Anne Spindlework style. The period of significance is 1891, the year the house was constructed.”
