Built in 1937 and designed by John Victor Macka, this Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial style residence across from Echo Park Lake was originally built for the pastor of the Angelus Temple, Aimee Semple McPherson. In 1982 it was designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 257.
