Inscription. Christopher "Chris" Sarandon was born in Beckley on 24 July 1942. Graduated Woodrow Wilson HS, earned a degree in speech from WVU, and a masters in theatre from Catholic U. of America. Noted stage, motion picture and television actor. Nominated for Best Actor, Fright Night (1986), nominated, Best Supporting Actor in Dog Day Afternoon (1975) and The Resurrected (1992).
