Played for three seasons at the University of Massachusetts, where he broke the NCAA freshman record for blocked shots.
Was voted freshman of the year for the Atlantic 10 conference, and would help lead UMass to the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight during his sophomore year.
Was taken number 2 overall in the 1996 NBA Draft. He would go on to play for the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers, and Houston Rockets.
