The structures in this group are, generally, 2 story, 3 bay width brick buildings with cornices. … The remaining buildings have flat headed windows and metal cornices. The storefronts have been modified in most cases usually by covering the original with modern materials. …

109 S. Main was built in 1898 by J. J. Blietz. It housed the Elmdorf Grocery and Meat Market.
