1. 202 West First Street Marker
Inscription. A huge downtown fire in 1859 leaped across the street from the north and destroyed the interior of this, one of Dixon's oldest buildings. After it was restored, it was used for many decades for offices, most notably those of F.X. Newcomer real estate, farm management and insurance.
