architect Thornton Abell, this house was remodeled just a bit to update with warm detailing akin to what the interior designer called a “Palm Spings” vibe.

Significance Statement:
The property meets the criteria for LAHCM designation because it embodies the distinguishing characteristics of an architectural-type specimen, inherently valuable for a study of a period style or method of construction, as an example of Mid-Century Modern architecture. The HCM designation report lists the property's architectural style as International; however it appears to more closely exemplify Mid-Century Modern architecture, exhibiting many of the style's character-defining features.
