1. Dixon Memorial Arch Marker
Inscription. Original wood frame and beaverboard triumphal arch erected for June 12, 1919, celebration honoring Lee County W.W.I veterans and Dixon's Co. C, 123rd Field Artillery, 33rd Prairie Division. Deteriorating arch replaced in 1949 and then again in 1965 when Galena Ave. was widened. Fiberglass arch erected and rededicated Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, 1985.
