Morton the Sea Monster, this fanastical thirty-foot creature, was inspired by the one created by artist Tony Sarg more than eighty five years ago on Nantucket Island, in the summer of 1937. Search for Morton in the Museum galleries and learn more about Sarg's delightful and now legendary hoax!
