Originally called the Broadway Central Building, later named for Judson Rives, the 1920s-era owner who renovated the onetime office building and added the movie theater that occupied its ground floor from 1925 to 1988.
The building was purchased in 2005 and completely renovated. The 10-story apartment building is now called The Judson.
