As noted, the marker is located on a street named Am Graben, “on the ditch/moat”. This (or simply Graben), is a relatively common street name in German cities and towns, with the street running on top of the location of the former defensive ditch running outside the defensive walls. In this picture, the street “Am Graben” is the one on the left, running all the way to the Schwarzer tower, visible in the distance.
