Regarding Henry Bollman House. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wrights oldest son, it was commissioned by a contractor who worked with Wright. The home is the earliest example of the architects use of the knit-block construction system subsequently employed for his fathers Millard, Freeman, Ennis, and Storer residences. Like the Ennis and Millard houses, the Bollman Residence reflects a Meso-American influence.
Situated on an 8,102-square-foot lot in the Sunset Square Historic Preservation Overlay Zone, the two-story home has four bedrooms, two baths, hardwood and concrete slab floors, and a stone fireplace.
The house has been featured on two covers of Architectural Digest.
