1. Security Trust and Savings Marker
Inscription. This imposing Italian Renaissance Revival structure with its Romanesque window arches was built in 1920. It was a power center of the entertainment industry and is still used by the industry today. Wyatt Earp, Charlie Chaplin, the Three Stooges, Lana Turner and W.C. Fields are said to have maintained accounts at the bank. Cecil B. DeMille got financing and Howard Hughes kept his jewel collection here. The architects were John and Donald Parkinson.
