TAV Celebrity Theater. Hollywood Historic Site. Originally the Hollywood Recreation Building which housed a bowling alley, it became the site of one of radio's most popular audience participation shows in the 30s and 40s - Tom Breneman's "Breakfast in Hollywood". Frank Sinatra broadcast the "Lucky Strike Hit Parade" from here. Other shows filmed here include the Merv Griffin Show, Jeopardy, The Dating Game and Hollywood Squares. Irving Berlin composed in upstairs offices. From 1949 to 1956, it served as the first ABC West Coast studios.
