the Alamo by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas

Location. 29° 25.579′ N, 98° 29.171′ W. Marker is in San Antonio, Texas, in Bexar County. It is in Alamo Plaza. Memorial can be reached from the intersection of Alamo Plaza and East Houston Street. This marker is in the northeast corner of the Alamo complex, in a landscaped section not far from the north wall. It is immediately to the left of the Emily D. West statue and a few yards to the right of the marker about the spot where William Travis was killed. Touch for map.
