Regarding Great Northern Depot. National Register of Historic Places #88000673.
From the National Register Nomination:
The Great Northern Depot is historically significant as an early-twentieth-century railroad building in Bemidji, which owed its initial settlement and prosperity to railroads in general and to the Great Northern Line in particular. In the summer of 1898, Great Northern Railway constructed a line through Bemidji, connecting Fosston on the west with its Duluth Branch at Grand Rapids on the east. This extension was the first major, east-west trackage through the pine lands of north central Minnesota. Its impact on Bemidji was immediate, transforming the village from "an isolated pioneer community into a busy logging town." The Great Northern completed this new depot in 1913.

Excerpt:
Bemidji station is a former Great Northern Railway depot in Bemidji, Minnesota, United States. It opened in 1913, replacing a wooden structure built in 1898. It was the last depot commissioned by railroad magnate James J. Hill. The depot served passengers until the late 1950s and continued as a freight depot until the mid-1980s, when it was closed, boarded up, and abandoned. Empty and deteriorating, the building was slated for demolition in the late 20th century. It was saved by a nearly $2 million adaptive reuse effort and now houses the Beltrami County History Center, operated by the Beltrami County Historical Society.(Submitted on September 6, 2023, by Cosmos Mariner of Cape Canaveral, Florida.)
