McGroarty Home and Grounds, built in 1929 for John Steven McGroarty, famed California Poet Laureate, historian, journalist and congressman. Declared February 4, 1970 Historic-Cultural Monument No. 63 by the City of Los Angeles, Cultural Heritage Commission, Cultural Affairs Department.
