O seu valor radica en ser un dos colexios de primaria más antigos de España que aínda se conserva. Construída no ano 1817 polo arquitecto Domingo Novás, o seu valor arquitectónico, ademais de no mérito da súa potente fachada, radica na escaleira dobre interior e na concepción do espazo aberto en dúas plantas para as aulas escolares, segundo o criterio pedagóxico do momento.

Su valor radica en ser uno de los colegios de primaria conservados más antiguos de España. Construida en el año 1817 por el arquitecto Domingo Novás, su valor arquitectónico, además de en el mérito de su potente fachada, radica en la escalera doble interior y en la concepción del espacio abierto en dos plantas para las aulas escolares, según el criterio pedagógico del momento.
