Regarding LeGrand-Bozarth House. Excerpt from the National Register of Historic Places nomination for Trinity Historic District:
House. 1107 Minerva Ave. Two-story c. 1910 frame house, altered by enclosure of original attached full-facade shed-roofed porch with pedimented gable. Triangular brackets and exposed rafters support the eaves.

The house may have been built by Nash LeGrand, a lawyer whose brother-in-law and sister, William K. and Patricia Boyd, were among the earliest residents of Trinity Park and lived next door at 1109 Minerva. The house at 1107 later was occupied by Hal W. Boring, vice-president of Durham Realty & Insurance Co. and secretary-treasurer of Durham Loan & Trust Co. The Frank Downs Bozarth, Jr. family lived there beginning in the 1930s.
