Jerry Quarry was a popular heavyweight in the late 1960's and early 1970's. His most famous bouts were against world champions Floyd Patterson, Jimmy Ellis, Joe Frazier, and Ken Norton. He fought Muhammad Ali two times, losing both bouts. To his disadvantage, he had a tendency to cut easily, but was only counted out in one fight against George Chavulo. His record was 53 wins, 9 losses & 4 draws - 32 wins by knockout.
