25th Infantry Division

Gary, a qualified artillery specialist and cook, was fatally wounded at his Fire Support Base in a non-hostile accident by fragments from an unexploded artillery round which was being destroyed. His tour of duty in Vietnam began on 10 January 1968 and he died from wounds received on 15 January 1969.
