Edward Mark Snell
Edward, an infantryman, landed in France on D-day in one of the thousands of WACO CG-4A troop carrier gliders towed by C-47's/C-46's during the invasion. Later, once Paris was liberated, he was assigned to a train feeding allied troops and many of the millions of European refugees.
