359th Transportation Co., 240th QM Bn., 58th Field Depot, Republic of Vietnam

After completion of Basic Training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky, Arthur was transferred to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona for training as a Light Vehicle Driver prior to RVN Training and deployment to the 359th in Vietnam. Once in-country and a period of time with his unit he was selected for further specialty training as a Heavy Vehicle Driver and served as such for the remainder of his time in-country and active duty service. During his service he was often commended for excellent conduct and the efficient performance of his duties.

Enlisted 10 August 1967 at Albany, NY - Honorably Discharged 7 August 1970 at Fort Belvoir, VA
