A Marine Rifleman and Expeditionary Firefight/Rescue Specialist, Tyler served with his detachment and received a Letter of Appreciation for his work in providing essential ground support to the fixed wing component of the Aviation Combat Element and other supporting elements of the Marine Air Control Group. Tyler was transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve upon release from active duty and served until his discharge on 26 Aug 2020.
