Inscription.
After Boot Camp Lynn was selected and served with the elite Presidential Honor Guard, Washington, DC. He later graduated from Aviation Storekeeper School and served aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). He served again on the Eisenhower for a second tour after his first enlistment, followed by a tour on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) with VAW 125 before joining the SeaBees as a Steelworker. He served a total of 11 years, 10.5 months on active duty, as well as, 7 months of inactive duty between active enlistments. His final discharge was from CBU 417, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, WA.
