Regarding 209 South Academy. Excerpt from the National Register nomination for the Cary Historic District:
209 S Academy St. House. Built ca. 1927, this one-and-a-half-story, frame period cottage is simply detailed with a cross-gable roof, plain weatherboard siding, and six-over-six windows (some of which are paired). The foundation and exterior end chimney are of brick.
