1. Pennsylvania Railroad Station Marker
Inscription.

Looking east on Haven Street, this early twentieth century image presents a very different picture than today. The Pennsylvania Railroad station stood at this location, a two story structure, with the second floor used as a dwelling for the station agent. The first train on the Pennsylvania Railroad to pass through town was on November 15, 1886. Coal was unloaded from a chute on a siding to the rear of the station to supply the electric generating plant behind it with fuel.
