1. Via Genova Marker
Inscription.

English:
During the urban retrain of 1894-95 that covered the entire district, Via Genova acquired the Fontana dei Prigione which was placed on the back-cloth near Via Palermo when the Viminal Palace was contructed, commissioned by Giovanni Giolitti in 1961, the Fountain was moved to the current place of Via Luciano Manara, to the Trastevere District. The Viminal Palace was officially opened on 9 July 1925. It remained in Via Genova 24, inside the courtyard of the hotel residence, the Fontana del Mascherone, in travertine and stone, placed in a cavity with arched eardrum, with a bronze mask that pours water from the mouth. You continue along Via Genova and arrive to Giardino di Sant'Andrea al Quirinale you come across the Provincial Command of the Fire Department. In 1934, during the excavations for the extension of the Barracks, a Roman house of the 1st century A.D. was discovered, but because of urban needs was completely destroyed and buried.
