Das 18 poras e postigos da Muralha Fernandina, construída no séc. XIV, este é o único que se manteve até aos nossos dias. Nele se encontrava uma inscrição gótica da era de 1386. Através deste postigo era feita a ligação da Rua da Fonte Taurina ao cais.

From the 18 doors and hatches built in the wall in the XIVth century, this is the only one that's been kept until our days. This hatch had a gothic inscription from 1386 and it was used to connect the "Fonte Taurina" Street and the harbour pier.
