East Freedom in Blair County, Pennsylvania — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Veterans Memorial
Dedication
This Year of Our Lord, 1964, the Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company takes this belated opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to those brave men and women of our township, who, since the beginning of its foundation have donated themselves and their services to their country in time of peace and in war. They unselfishly dedicated themselves to God in a great task on many fronts to stop aggression to protect our liberty. In many instances they made the supreme sacrifice and died bravely to insure world peace, and the priviledge of worshipping God as free men and to preserve that great American belief that all men are created equal.
Paul E. Hetrick
Re-dedicated 1988 and 2010
Erected 2010 by Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company.
