Bimini Museum
Islands of the Bahamas
| | Heritage | |
Founded in 1995 by the Bimini Historical Society, the Bimini Museum did not have a home until 2000 following a fundraising effort, and restoration of the building was completed. Now the museum houses the stories, artifacts, and mementos of the island's history, including exhibits on Prohibition and rum running, Adam Clayton Powell, Martin Luther King, Jr., Ernest Hemingway, the Bimini Bay Rod and Gun Club, and the Compleat Angler, among other exhibits.
