Bethany Baptist Church
Established 1867. Bethany Baptist Church was originally mile from its present site. In 1898. this property was acquired and a new church was built. A brick structure was erected in 1957. After it burned, the current church was built in 1984. Nearly 600 people from the Whynot community' are buried in the cemetery.
