1. To the Glory of God Marker
Inscription. The Accident German Lutherans built this church in 1851. They joined the Missouri Synod in 1864 and added a Narthex and Bell Tower. From the smoking ashes of this church, which was struck by lightning on August 23, 1901, and completely destroyed, the new building was dedicated on April 19, 1903. This monument was erected by the congregation in celebration and praise to our God for 150 years as a member of the Missouri Synod (LCMS) in 2014.
