Regarding Victorian Brownstone Residences. Several of the brownstones built by Potter still stand today on the south portion of the west side of Ritchie Court, across the street from this historical marker. However, all of the mansions that once stood on the square block that includes the east side of Ritchie Court--bounded by Ritchie Court, Banks Street, Lake Shore Drive, and Goethe Street--were razed and are now home to high-rise buildings.
