Regarding Pendleton County Court House. Considered Franklin's key building, the Pendleton County Court House was constructed in 1924-1925 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 15, 1986. Its Brick Colonial Revival structure reflects the major rebuilding of the downtown business district after its destruction by fire in 1924. Its NRHP reference number is 86000773.
